Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how MannyD.dev ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or work with us on a project, whether that is a native iOS or Android app, custom software, a website, or ongoing IT support. Security and privacy are a top priority in everything we build and everything we do.

Doing business with us means you accept this policy. Using this website, submitting our contact form, requesting a quote, or engaging us for work confirms that you have read and agreed to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you contact us, either through the contact form on this site or by email, we collect the details you choose to share. On the form that means your name, email address, and project description (required), plus your company, phone number, service type, timeline, and budget range if you provide them.
  • Support information. If we provide IT support, we may handle information about your devices, accounts, and systems as needed to diagnose and resolve issues. We access only what the task requires.
  • Project information. If we work together, we collect the information needed to deliver your project, such as business requirements, content, and account or access details you provide.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting environment may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We also briefly record a one-way hash of your IP address when you submit the contact form, purely to limit spam and abuse. This is used only for security and operational purposes.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, and to send you a confirmation that we received your message.
  • To plan, build, deliver, and support your project, including app store submissions and ongoing IT support where applicable.
  • To communicate with you about your project or our services.
  • To keep our website and systems secure and prevent abuse.
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations when required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.

4. How we protect information

We apply the same security-first mindset to our own operations as we do to client projects. Measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls limiting who can view project information, and secure development practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but protecting your information is something we take seriously at every step.

5. Your project materials, our code, and confidentiality

Every website, application, and software system we build is custom built for the client who hired us to build it, and we treat each client's project as confidential. We do not share your project files, designs, content, or data with other clients, and we do not reuse anything unique to your business anywhere else.

We keep secure copies of project source code and related materials so we can support, maintain, patch, and restore your software over time. Access is limited to the people working on your project.

Ownership of the software itself is covered by our Terms of Service. In short, we retain ownership of the underlying source code and license it to you for use in your own business under a lifetime license. That arrangement exists to keep the work secure and to stop it being copied, rebranded, or resold by anyone. It does not affect your ownership of your brand, your content, or your data, all of which remain yours at all times.

6. Sharing of information

We do not share your information with third parties except in the following limited cases:

  • Service providers. Trusted providers may help us operate our website or deliver your project (for example, hosting or infrastructure providers). They only receive what is necessary to perform their function and are expected to protect it.
  • Email delivery. Messages sent through our contact form are delivered using Resend, an email delivery service. The contents of your message pass through Resend in order to reach our inbox and to send your confirmation email. Resend processes this data on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

7. Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services, meet the purposes described in this policy, or satisfy legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us, and we will honor that request unless we are legally required to retain it.

8. Your rights

You may contact us at any time to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Ask questions about how your information is handled.

9. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

10. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
