Include your device, the iOS or tvOS version, and whether you use Xtream or M3U. We answer within a couple of days.
Before you write
Most problems are a provider login or a stream your provider is not carrying. MannyDtv includes no channels and cannot add, fix or replace any stream. The answers below cover the rest.
Connecting your playlist
On the sign-in screen choose Xtream and enter the server URL, username and password from your provider, or choose M3U and paste the playlist URL. Pasting a full M3U link that contains the username and password fills the Xtream fields for you. If you skipped sign-in, go to Settings › Connect IPTV Provider.
- "Login incorrect": re-check the server address (including http or https and the port), username and password. They are case-sensitive.
- "Server unreachable": the provider's server did not answer. Check your connection and the provider's status.
A game will not play
- Playback needs MannyDtv Pro. Scores and stats work without it.
- Press Watch on the game card. MannyDtv searches your guide for a channel carrying the game; if several match, it asks you to pick one.
- If "No stream found" appears, your playlist has no channel carrying that game yet. Pre-game coverage usually lands close to kickoff.
- A stream that stalls or buffers is delivered by your provider. Try another channel for the same game, or Settings › Update All Content to refresh your guide.
Scores look wrong or late
Scores, clocks and stats come from public sports data sources and can lag the broadcast by a little. Pull to refresh on Home, or check that the sport is turned on under Settings › Manage Sports Categories. MannyDtv is not affiliated with any league or broadcaster and cannot change what those sources publish.
MannyDtv Pro, trials and restoring
- Buy or manage Pro under Settings › MannyDtv Pro.
- Already paid on another device? Tap Restore Purchases. Pro follows your Apple ID and supports Family Sharing.
- Cancel or change a subscription in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
CarPlay
With the phone connected, MannyDtv appears on the car display and lists today's games by sport. Selecting a game plays its audio with the live score on the Now Playing screen; video is never shown while driving. Games become playable a few minutes before their start time. Sign in on your iPhone first; the car shows a reminder if no provider is connected.
Apple TV and iPad
Sign in on each device with the same playlist. On Apple TV, Home holds the shelves and Settings the playlist and Pro options; on iPad the sidebar lists your sports. Pro bought on one device unlocks all of them through your Apple ID.
Privacy and data
MannyDtv keeps no accounts and collects no data. Everything stays on your device. The full privacy policy explains what the app stores and who it talks to.
